I started my Health Group post on Saturday, but it never got finished and I scrapped it.
I’m tired. I don’t know what the problem is, but I’m really tired. Last week, I only ended up with one walk and one day of weights and physical therapy. And I didn’t eat as well as I’d hoped. This kind of surprises me, as I was so pumped up at the beginning of last week. For me, I think exercise is the key. I am much more disciplined in my eating, both quality and quantity, when I’m exercising. In a way, I don’t want to waste the effort I spent exercising by horfing. But when I don’t exercise, and I see something I want, well…. that’s that.
I’m feeling a bit under the weather. Just a smidge, but it’s contributing to my lack of energy. Today I hope to plan a bit. Plan out my food for the week. Re-talk myself up for exercising. Since I am tired today, I think I’ll do weights and PT instead of hitting the treadmill.
Anyone have anything to share?

I’m the same way; if I am exercising, I am motivated to eat well. When I am not exercising regularly, I figure, “Why bother?”
I ordered a pedometer to see how much I walk every day. As I am doing a lot of dog walking I think this will be fun & interesting.
Also, I just started taking my blood sugar levels for a study by my neurologist on migraines. Now I worry if I am pre-diabetic or something. It would help if I know what the numbers meant… I search the ADA website, but info was vague. I really don’t want to go get tested. No thanks. At least right now they seem to be steady at around 125 and I’ve been taking them at all different times.

Last week was really busy for me, I was putting in 12 hours days on Tuesday and Wednesday and then Mike went out Thursday evening so I couldn’t get to the gym. I did end up going on Sunday- so I don’t know if that counts for this week or last week. I also went to Goodwill and found some VHS aerobic tapes. I viewed them on Friday and didn’t find them too hokey so I plan on doing those on the days I don’t get to the gym.
I haven’t weighed in for a few days.

You are tired because you don’t exercise and don’t eat well. Thats the best motivation for me. If I’m tired, the best cure is a long walk and a good, nutritious meal. And enough water, if I forget to drink I am useless!
The litte effort is so worth it when I get so much more energy back! I hope you will find motivation soon, cheering for you!

I’ve been exhausted all week, but I think it’s a combination of the fall clouds in the mornings and the fact that all of our lovely evening light is gone.

I am a complete stranger who found your website when searching for knitting patterns and continued to read on because you are so interesting. I understand that you are tired and we all go through it. Don’t give up. Try one day this week and two days next week. What you have done is amazing and a true inspiration… In fact, you’ve gotten motivated… So thanks!

You’re the mother of 4 young children, including an infant, who’s recently moved into a new house and you don’t know why you’re tired!!??! I think I do!
