Good morning! I had another good week with the exercise, but I’m still struggling with food.
Monday- 35 minutes of treadmill.
Tuesday- didn’t have the opportunity to do anything, but we DID get to see Superman at the drive in.
Wednesday- I did the 35 minutes of treadmill and picked up the physical therapy from Tuesday
Thursday- weights and physical therapy
Friday- I snuck the treadmill in, 35 minutes again, right before midnight.
Today I will do my weights and physical therapy.
The scale did a weird thing this week. I’ve been between 221 and 223 for a couple months, and then out of the blue, I jumped up to 227 one morning. The next day, I was 226. The next day, 223.5, which is where I was this morning as well.
I don’t know what that’s about, but whatever. I know I’m gaining muscle already, because I can see it in my quads and my biceps.

Sounds like you are doing great Laura! I picked up again and got myself back to Weight Watchers with a very good friend of mine! We are both determined to feel better and hopefully look better in the process. I lost 3 lbs this past week and have continued with my short walks with the dog and lots and lots of housework/ yardwork preparing for company that is coming next week. I’m trying very hard not to be a perfectionist this time, going a bit easier on myself for slip ups.
In a word I’m optimistic!

You hit the treadmill three times this week. That’s fab, Laura! Congrats on your three-pound loss, Cathy!
I only managed to hit the treadmill twice, once for 30 minutes and once for 15 minutes. I’ve also been doing some crunches and other floor exercises while watching TV at night. I can really feel the effects from those, but I need to hit the treadmill more often to burn the fat.
