I think, after some constructive critique from Nate, we’re going to continue working on the top left quarter of the “S”, but we like the bottom, so I’ve started working the chart.
Intarsia is a lot of fun.
The buyers on our house signed off on the inspection last night. So we’re all good. Just waiting out the time now. I’m glad I have some knitting I’m excited about to pass the time.

I love that stork yarn. It is really soft and perfect for baby stuff.

Hi Laura,
I’ve never ever commented on the blog of a total stranger so here goes. I just started knitting last summer and of course spend way too much time reading knitting blogs when I could be knitting.
I only read a couple of your pages but really appreciate that you have patterns you post and lots of Finished Object pics to admire. You’re girls are super blessed to have a mum who would keep them “in poncho’s”….I love poncho’s and shawls myself and had my first one in 4th grade when a friend from guantemala sent me one. Now why didn’t my knitting mum make me poncho’s instead of itchy wool sweaters? Oh well…I can’t wait until my DD has grandaughters for me to knit for…your site is an inspiration. Thanks for making it. Susan in Idaho
