Yeah, so, I’m going to run out of yarn. I’m ripping back almost the entire thing (again, I’ve done it once before. I feel like a hack, not a knitter) to make the cuff shorter so I have enough yarn for the fingers. Dangit.

That’s too bad, but I’ve found I always like things better when I take the time to re-do. The color is gorgeous. I’m sure she’ll like them. I plan to start my pair for her this weekend. I haven’t even decided on a pattern, but I doubt that I’ll write my own as your’re doing! Enjoy the process.

Oh man. I hate it when that happens. I’m doing the same to mine. Ripping all the way. Out of curiosity how many cast on stitches are you doing? I’m using koigu as well and don’t want to have to rip again if I don’t make ’em big enough…again.
