Or at least part of one.
It’s the Cashmerino Esther Williams for my friend with cancer. It is sooooooo soft. It’s also my first project knit with Debbie Bliss yarn, and it’s nice. I’m almost to the decreases.
I know it seems like I’ve had a lot of time to sit and knit recently. Not so. I’ve just been making good use of travel time in the car. (With the exception of Saturday morning, when I was knitting on the couch). I can’t hold Clark in the car, even if he wants me to. I also can’t do laundry, feed anybody, or help anyone with their homework while we’re in the car. So I knit.
I need to spend more time in the car. Anyone want to drive?

Car time is prime knitting time for me too. When I’m not driving of course. Glad you are getting some knitting done.

I know what you mean… I keep telling myself I should be sleeping when the baby is sleeping, but instead I keep sneaking in a few rows on a wig I’m making for Nathan’s Halloween costume. 🙂

Look at his little halo! How sweet! And, the hat is cute, too.

The Esther Williams hat is so pretty, and I am sure that your friend will love it. Isnt Clarke a cutie pie, even when his asleep. I hope you manage to do some more knitting.

I love the Debbie Bliss yarn…I have a trunk full of it in four colorways…my LYS had a huge sale and I bought a ton of it! Still haven’t decided what all I am going to make out of it, but I have enough for several sweaters!

Love the hat . . . I love Debbie Bliss! My favourite is Alpaca Silk. I made Coronet from Knitty for my boyfriend’s Grandma when she went through chemo. She loved the warmth of it during the cold BC winter. Right now I’m making a moss stitch scarf with some lovely turquoise Alpaca Silk – I can’t wait to wear it!
