That’s what the nurse said on the phone tonight. I didn’t think I’d hear back today, and I certainly didn’t think I’d pass… but I did, and apparently with flying colors. That’s great news.
Nate asked what color my “flying colors” were. Blue, red, and yellow, baby!
I did end up getting a roast beef and turkey sandwich on wheat bread at Subway. Ate and recovered somewhat at my mother-in-law’s house before coming home and sleeping. Now, we’re off to the pool to let the kids swim and cool off. Have a great weekend!

Yay! That’s fantastic news. So glad everything is ok. Those glucose tolerance tests are awful. They really need to have substantial food there at the doctor’s office or whereever they are taking your blood for you to eat before getting behind the wheel of a car. I said that 15 years ago and I can’t believe I’m still saying it today. Anyway, really glad to hear that you passed with flying blue, red, and yellow colors.

Hi, I’m delurking to say, I feel your pain!!! I HATED that 3-hour glucose test, simply HATED it. I dreaded going in, dreaded getting my blood drawn… ugh! When I passed it, I was happy that I passed, but I was also a little bit pissed off that the first test couldn’t have shown that I was okay. Does that make sense? I also remember thinking at the end of the test: I need to eat because there’s a glucose volcano in my stomach, but everything sounds disgusting.
I’m happy for you that you passed it and that all is going well with your newest little wee one. Congrats!
